Effective water filtration
The Wigry filter ensures that the water in your pond remains crystal clear. We have taken care of comprehensive filtration in 4 stages:
1. Mechanical filtration
The perforated housing traps large contaminants. The sponge insert retains smaller contaminants and protects the biological media.
2. Biological filtration
BioceraMax 600 biological media ensure biological balance.
3. Chemical filtration
The ZeoMax Plus chemical cartridge removes heavy metals, toxins and phenols from the water.
4. Sterilisation
The built-in UV steriliser prevents the growth of algae and pathogens.
Multi-purpose action
The sponge cartridge removes mechanical impurities and makes the water clearer. In addition, it protects the biological media from clogging too quickly, i.e. they wear out more quickly and need to be replaced.
The water flows through the filter in such a way that any sediment can be caught as efficiently as possible. A set of Biocera Max 600 biological media ensures the correct biological balance. The Zeomax Plus chemical cartridge effectively removes heavy metals, toxins and phenols from the water. At the end of the circuit, a UV steriliser prevents the growth of algae and pathogens.
The filter media baskets allow the use of any bulk media, such as activated carbon. The specially designed perforated filter housing prevents clogging. It will stop the biggest dirt such as fallen leaves or grass particles after mowing.
Tailored to your pond
The 15-degree angle adjustment of the fountain nozzle makes it possible to position the filter in a pond with an uneven bottom.
The infinitely adjustable tee allows the water flow to be split between the fountain and the cascade (cascade not included).
A telescopic fountain nozzle with a wide adjustment range allows the fountain to be easily adjusted to the depth of the tank.
Discreet and user-friendly
Discreetly installed below the surface of the pond water, the filter does not interfere with the pond design. Ergonomic latches facilitate access to the inside of the unit, a convenient transport handle also serves to wind up the power cable when storing the filter during the winter.
The power supply to the filter, both pump and UV lamp, is via a single cable as long as 5 metres, making it easy to connect to a power source. A luminous element in the housing indicates the operation of the UV lamp without having to remove the filter from the water.
The internal pond filter is available in 3 models:
- Wigry 2000 designed for ponds of up to 2,000 litres
- Wigry 4000 designed for pondss with a capacity of up to 4,000 litres
- Wigry 6000 designed for ponds with a capacity of up to 6,000 litres
